Hello my fellow music lovers!
I wanted to write a blog about music because it has been such a huge part of my life. Have you ever just gotten lost in a song? Had a bad day or the best day of your life and music was a part of it? Today was a good day and I am feeling a little country and sassy so I put in some Miranda Lambert. She tells it like it is. Tell me your stories about how music has helped you through. I would love to hear them!
I also love music. It's amazing how a song can bring you back in time to a long forgotten memory. I can actually feel the emotions I felt at the time, some good, some bad but still there and they hit you unexpectedly when a song plays. It's lovely!
ReplyDeleteExactly! It can be very motivating to hear a song that is a blast from the past or just one that makes you sit and think for a while.
ReplyDeleteMusic is amazing! A catalyst to recall a memory, change a person’s demeanor, and the ability to stimulate varies emotions. Love a good rhythm? You may find this article that merges music and science using fractal math interesting!
ReplyDeleteNo way, really? That sounds a little too complex for me. lol
DeleteI like listening to music on the way to work but when I get home I tend to listen to the TV while I clean. On the other hand, my husband loves to listen to music while he cleans, gets ready and especially in the car. He says it's a motivator for him too.
ReplyDeleteYou know if you are such a music lover we need to find a way to have music playing in the background when we view your blog. Maybe we can figure out something in class if we have time.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!!! I bet I could by adding a link to some tunes. Let me work on that this weekend. Now I am excited. Thanks.
DeleteI love all types of music! Growing up in the 80's I am all about the hair bands. But, as an adult, I tend to favor country. For the past few years my favorite has been and is Jason Aldean. When I am at the gym, I love hair band and heavy metal, but anytime I am driving in my car, Jason Aldean is blaring out my windows.
ReplyDeleteThose are both great choices! That is what I love about music. It is so versatile.
